How We Work with Builders:

We make simple materials selections on our side and hand them over to you for ordering in your system.

Option 2: Semi-Custom
We work 1:1 with you to make more in-depth selections, providing technical drawings and some administrative work.

We work directly with your client, walking them through selections to create a truly custom home design

A: Most of our work is predominantly located in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding cities of Columbia, Gastonia, and Charleston. Please note that travel fees apply to all areas outside of Charlotte.

A: No. We will not provide subs to the project.

A: Our design fees are a flat rate on a sliding scale from Standard to Custom. For more precise numbers based on the scope of your project, please reach out to Susan Hill at susan@susanhillid.com.

A: This depends on the service option you choose. Option 1 can be done in about a week. Option 2 would take up to 12 weeks, and Option 3 would last through the life of the project.

A: We will schedule an initial call with you to discuss the scope of the project, timeline, and investment. Then, depending on the package you have selected, we will carry out the design selections either in our studio, with you, or in conjunction with your client. We include 1 round of iterations if you/your client have any feedback on the design. Once finalized, we then turn over the final specifications and technical drawings (if included) to you for ordering and implementation.
